“Vaccination Drive” at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology

The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Tamilnadu has been issuing instructions from time to time regarding the preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. The Government has also been monitoring the situation very closely and based on the strategy adopted for prioritizing the groups for vaccination to contain the spread of COVlD-19,

            In view of the above, we, the volunteers and Alumni of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, conducted a vaccination camp and got the staff, students and parents vaccinated to contain the spread of COVID-19. The drive happened in the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology campus on 01.10.2021 between 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 300 members were vaccinated.

The program was initiated by Dr. K.P. Ramasamy - KPR group, Dr. M. Akila, Principal of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Dr. A.M. Natarajan, CEO, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.

In the presence of Dr. M.S. Karthikeyan, Overall coordinator, Community services, Dr. P. Anilkumar, Head, Office of alumni relations and NSS coordinator, Dr. R. Saravanan, UBA coordinator organised the event, Mr. S. Jithendra, President, KPRIET alumni association and Mr. V. Kavinkumar, Vice president, KPRIET alumni association. The volunteers for NSS, UBA, SAP and Rotract club helped in the conduction of the event.
