Summary
Learning is complete and holistic only when a student is able to effectively perform and fulfill his/her responsibilities and duties towards college, self, family, society, and, above all, the nation. The goal is to enable today’s student to be a good citizen and a responsible human being who is well-aware of his potential and competence. Life skills are one of the 21st century skills components. We shall deal with these in detail in the following sections. The need for life skills is also stated in the National Curriculum Framework (2005). We have already seen above that life skills constitute an important part of the 21st century skills. The importance of the integration of Life Skills can be seen in the following excerpts from the National Curriculum Framework. The section concludes by highlighting the general areas of consensus across the broad range of frameworks associated with 21st Century Skills, which exist despite the diversity of terminologies used by commentators across the field. Totally 58 students and 1 industry person attended the event and gave feedback about it. The chief guest was honored with memento. The use of "life skills’ as a formal framework for defining key skills, competencies, and capabilities has emerged almost exclusively from within the sphere of international development and is currently reflected in the objectives and indicators across a number of areas featured within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, it operates as a model of definition for ‘21st Century Skills’ that is of particular note for those parties operating within that sphere.
