AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH FIRST YEAR STUDENTS, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

First year students got awareness about the utilization of labs, library and other common facilities available at KPRIET.

On December 8th Students Affairs organized an Interactive session with the first year students. This event held at the Legend hall KPRIET between 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm. From the first year department three to four students were selected from each class to attend this Interactive session program at legend hall. Totally there were forty one students attended the program. For this event the key speaker are Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, Director Students Affairs and Alumni Relations , KPRIET and Dr. P. Geetha, Director freshman, KPRIET. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, Director Students Affairs and Alumni Relations sir explained the rules and regulations of our college KPRIET. And he thought how to improve the English knowledge, he asked the students to read the English news papers regularly and daily get to know some five to six new English words. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan sir insisted the students to go to library daily and utilize the library. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan sir encouraged the students to participate in the workshops, seminars and sports events. Dr. P. Geetha, Director freshman addressed the first year students who gathered in the legend hall KPRIET and she explained what are all the main subjects and how to approach the subjects to study in the first year. Dr. P. Geetha madam made clear about the dress code of the students and discipline of the students. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan sir and Dr. P. Geetha madam congratulated the students who have participated and won prizes in many events. The first year students were very happy and thanked the Students Affairs for organizing such kind of programme to the first year students.
