About me

Mr. John Amose is currently an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. He is the Department's Career Development Center Coordinator and KPR International Center Coordinator. He previously worked for Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore were he held various roles and responsibilities. During his Post Graduation studies in Biomedical Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore he worked with a team of Doctors in the Department of Neurology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin on identifying patterns in the vocal sounds of Dysarthric patients. The work was published in the Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology. After his under graduation studies he was trained and certified from Cardea Labs, Delhi and worked as a researcher and trainer for interns from different parts of the country on MATLAB platform. With Cardea Labs he helped coordinate a one week hands-on training session in DY Patel University, Bombay.
