Dr. S. Logesh Kumar, has been working as Assistant Professor (Sl. Grade) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering Technology. He completed his Ph.D – Biomedical Engineering (Thesis - Highly Commended) from Anna University, Chennai in 2022, PG in M.Tech-Biomedical Engineering from VIT University, Vellore and UG in B.E. - Biomedical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. His principle research interest includes Biomaterials, Tissue Regenerative Medicine, Wound Healing, Biofabrication and Drug Delivery Applications. Also, Anna University, Chennai recognized research supervisor (Ref.No:4150018). He has totally 9 years of academic & research experience in the field of Biomedical Engineering. He has received various Travel Grants from SERB, ICMR, DBT and AICTE for attending International Conferences at USA, Scotland and Poland. He also received ‘Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Innovative Research’ 2019, ‘Best Paper Award’ from Nature Science Foundation 2018 and ‘Young Scientist Award’ from IOSRD Annual Awards 2017. To his credit, he has published 21 research articles in reputed international journals and attended 10 National & 15 International conferences and published 3 book chapters. Also an active professional society member of World Biomaterials Community, SBAOI, BMESI, STAMI, ISTE, SEEE, IAENG and ISRD.
