Dr. Gurumoorthy K B received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sasurie College of Engineering, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India, and his Master’s degree in Communication Systems from Anna University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. He has more than 13 years of teaching experience and 3 years of industry experience, contributing significantly to both academic excellence and applied research.

Dr. Gurumoorthy K B is a recognized Research Supervisor under Anna University, guiding research scholars in diverse and emerging domains, including Wireless Sensor Networks, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), Vehicular Communication Systems, and AI/ML-based optimization techniques for next-generation networking applications.

His research interests broadly encompass wireless communication systems, sensor networks, vehicular communication, intelligent networking, and AI and Machine Learning–driven optimization in communication networks. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
