About me

I am Dr. Arnab Sikidar, a dedicated researcher and academician with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Delhi, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. With over 3 years of experience in the healthcare and engineering domains, my expertise spans biomechanics, medical device innovation, AI-driven healthcare solutions, and intelligent robotics systems. I have led cutting-edge projects in musculoskeletal modeling using OpenSim, orthopedic implant development supported by ICMR, and AI-powered remote care technologies. Passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, I actively contribute to research, teaching, and mentorship, bridging the gap between engineering and healthcare to solve real-world problems through innovation and impactful design.
