The Department organized an NBA (National Board of Accreditation) Orientation Programme for faculty members to create awareness about the NBA accreditation process and Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The programme aimed to familiarize participants with the NBA accreditation criteria, documentation requirements, and quality assurance practices essential for achieving and sustaining accreditation.
During the session, the resource person explained the concepts of Course Outcomes (COs), Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), CO–PO mapping, attainment calculations, assessment methods, and continuous quality improvement (CQI). Faculty members also gained practical insights into preparing course files, maintaining accreditation evidence, and implementing effective teaching–learning and assessment practices aligned with NBA guidelines.
