The Department of Chemical Engineering conducted a webinar on 'Overview of Water Treatment And Role of Chemical Engineers' on 30.09.2023 in online mode through google meet. The resource person Mr. Harish Vasu, Associate Engineer, Veolia Water Technologies, Karnataka, India delivered a highly informative presentation, covering several crucial aspects of water treatment and the integral role played by chemical engineers. The webinar aimed to explore the critical topic of water treatment and emphasize the significant contributions made by chemical engineers in this field. The session commenced at 10.00 AM and lasted for an hour. Ms. B. Umamaheswari, a III Year B.Tech. Chemical Engineering student gave the welcome address and concluded the session with a vote of thanks. The webinar was attended by 35 students and 4 faculty members. The interactive nature of the session encouraged meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing among the attendees. The participants expressed their appreciation for the insightful content and engaging delivery style of Mr. Harish Vasu.
