Summary

Library advisory committee of KPRIET is organizing a session on ''Infatuation and its Impact on Early Teens'-Adolescence stories for first year AD students in their library hour from 3.30 to 4.15 at Library first floor. The conveners for the event are Dr V Seethalakshmi, Head LAC and Dr S Meena, Member LAC. Infatuations during early adolescence is a common and natural part of the human experience. It's a period marked by intense emotions, hormonal changes, and a developing sense of identity and social awareness. The impact of infatuation on early teens can vary widely, and outcomes depend on various factors such as individual personalities, support systems, and the nature of the relationships involved. While infatuation itself may not have a direct impact on academic performance, the preoccupation with romantic feelings can sometimes distract teens from their studies. It's essential for educators and parents to provide guidance on maintaining a healthy balance between social and academic aspects of life. This event is organized for I AD students in their library hour and totally 62 students attended the event. The students gave good feedback at the end of the session.
