Department of Chemical Engineering along with student affairs, KPRIET organised an interactiong session for II year chemical engineering students on 31.07.2024 between 11.15am - 1pm an account of bbot camp to spread the avareness on securing core jobs, tips to clear GATE exam, importance of GATE exam, ample opportunities available for Chemical engineers available in India. Dr. Nakkeeran, Convener of the programme introduced the resource person to the students in a warm manner. Mr. Sajil Varghese , an alumni belonging to Class 2022 batch and working in Kavin engineering services (Private) Ltd, Coimbatore as a Junior Process engineer, acted as a resource person for the event. He recollected all his memories and informed the same to the students during his intial stage of interaction. Resource person started his interaction in a casual manner about his background, his abilities, his aims in the initial stage of course while studying and how it turns later into a fruitful one. students got more interest in this session and interacted nicely by asking many questions on job, subject importance, clearing GATE exam tips for which the resource person answered very cleverly and interestingly. Dr. Nakkeeran given away the vote of thanks for the event and asked the department head Dr. S. Balasubramanian to present a small memento to the resource person.
