Summary
This Lecture Series was conducted by department of  physics in association with ISTE Faculty chapter, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technologyon 28/09/2022. Dr.K.Prabakaran and Ms.V.Gayathri were the convenors of this lecture series. This lecture series mainly focus on the development of novel electrocatalysts for energy conversion applications. The resource person this lecture series is Dr.Haridass Babaso Parse,Post Doctoral Researcher, Department of Material Science and Engineering, Tel Aviv University, Israel. The resource person addressed  the participants with advanced electrocatalyst, synthesis, characterization and the evaluation of activity and performance in Oxygen Reduction Reaction for various energy storage and conversion devices such as  fuel cells, water splitting devices and metal-air batteries.The participants were actively interacted with the speaker. The speaker clarify all the doubts arise by the student, research scholars, and external participants as well industry personals. This lecture series was conducted to recall the basic concepts involved in electrocatalyst for fuel cell applicatons. We are sure that this lecture series will benefit for all aspiring participants who are interested in preparation of metal free catalyst for alternative energy applications. Understand the electrochemical devices for energy conversion and storage devices such as fuel cells, electrolysers based on the use of renewable sources. The speaker's research work is mainly focused on two dimensional metal carbide with metal oxide semiconductors for oxygen reduction reaction in fuel cell applications. .
