On 4th April 2025, the first day of INNOVSENSE, teams showcased 150 plus interdisciplinary projects. Four members from the Jury panel evaluated the projects and based on the evaluation, top 32 teams were shortlisted to attend the Finals of INNOVSENSE 2025 in Kalai Arangam Hall, the next day, 5th April. Another team of four members from the Jury Panel evaluated the prototypes and products showcased. The valedictory function was scheduled at 3:00 PM and during the ceremony, the winners of various categories were announced. Dr.Sreelatha, Head of CIIED delivered the welcome address. The chief guests introduction was given by Dr. Nisha Soms, Associate Head of CIIED. After talks by each jury member, the prizes were announced. There were ten prizes granted as seed money to ten teams; Rs.30,000 for the first winning team, Rs.25,000 for the second winning team, Rs.20,000 for the third winning team, Rs.15,000 for the fourth winning team and Rs.10,000 for the remaining teams. . There were Budding Innovator Awards exclusively for the first year students. Each team under this category received Rs.10,000. There were Best Genesis Product Awards for teams who had produced viable products worth Rs.10,000 each.
