On March 14, 2025, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in partnership with IETE and Spatranz, organized the exciting event "Music Debugging" at D-108 on campus. Led by the guidance of Murugan Sir, this vibrant event took place from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, attracting 70 participants who competed in teams of two or three.
The event was designed to test participants' musical expertise and creativity through three unique rounds. Round 1 - Tune Detective required teams to identify songs solely based on background music. In Round 2 - Missing Piece, participants showcased their lyrical knowledge by completing missing sections of popular songs. Lastly, Round 3 - Reverse Journey added a twist by challenging them to determine the starting line of a song from its middle verse.
"Music Debugging" celebrated a passion for music while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, quick thinking, and collaboration. The engaging format allowed students to demonstrate their musical acumen in a lively and competitive environment. The event succeeded in fostering creativity, camaraderie, and a shared love for music, reinforcing Spatranz's mission to enhance both learning and enjoyment.
