ESSAY WRITING COMPETION, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

Ariviyal Sangam and KPRIET Jointly organized Essay Writing competition in remembrance of the freedom fighter of India. The essay topic is Sir C V Raman as a freedom fighter. The winners of the competition will be allowed to compete in a state level competition organized by arivial sangam at IGCAR. Cash prizes are announced for the winners of first three positions. The essay can be written in both the languages either English or in Tamil. Initially a mail was circulated to all the students in group mail about the competition and asked the students to register for participation. The registration amount was collected Rs.50 from each. A book written about the contribution made by the scientist for freedom struggle of India is provided to the registered participants. The essay writing competition was conducted in offline mode in the admin block in a class room. Around 30 students from almost all the departments have participated in the event. The time given for the completing the essay in 60 minutes. It should be written in A4 sheets for a minimum of about 400 words. Student affairs along with Ariviyal sangam has coordinated the event which was conducted successfully. Student who secured the first place is given a chance to participate in the state level competition which is to be conducted at IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
