The Department of EEE inaugurated the Students Association TECHNOWATT on 12th August 2025 at Thanam Hall.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Somasundaram Balasubramaniam, Director (CoE) & CDO, NETIX.AI.
The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring talk on AI, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0.
He highlighted opportunities in smart grids, energy systems, and sustainable technologies.
Over 200 students and faculty members actively participated.
The association logo was unveiled, marking the official launch of Technowatt.
Students were motivated to take up projects, internships, and industry collaborations.
The event aligned with SDG-4: Quality Education, encouraging technology for societal growth.
The inauguration concluded successfully, providing a platform for year-round technical activities.
