The EnSav Club organized the awareness initiative “Un-Ironed Clothes, Un-Ironed Earth” on 23rd August 2025 at OAT. A total of 120 volunteers participated enthusiastically by attending the event in unironed clothes, symbolizing their commitment to reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Through this initiative, the participants collectively saved an estimated 1.2 kg of CO₂ emissions in a single day by avoiding ironing. The campaign successfully spread awareness on the importance of small lifestyle changes in achieving larger sustainability goals.
The event concluded with a pledge by students and faculty to adopt eco-friendly practices in daily life. The initiative was well received and demonstrated how student-led actions can create measurable environmental impact while fostering a culture of responsibility within the campus.
