24-Hour National Hackathon ‘CICADA’25’ Inspires Innovation Across India
The much-anticipated CICADA’25, a 24-hours National-level hackathon, was successfully conducted from 10:30 a.m. on October 30, 2025, to 11:45 a.m. on October 31, 2025, bringing together some of the brightest young minds in technology and innovation.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 508 participants forming 150 dynamic teams representing over 89 colleges from across India. Students from engineering, computer science, and design backgrounds came together to brainstorm, collaborate, and build innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges.
The hackathon provided a platform for participants to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills under intense time constraints. Teams worked tirelessly through the night, developing prototypes and pitching their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges comprising industry experts, academicians, and entrepreneurs.
In addition to the coding marathon, CICADA’25 featured expert talks, mentorship sessions, and interactive discussions that inspired participants to think beyond conventional boundaries. The event celebrated innovation, teamwork, and perseverance — hallmarks of a true hackathon spirit.
Organizers expressed their delight at the enthusiastic participation and the high quality of projects presented. “CICADA’25 has truly set a benchmark for student-driven innovation at the national level,” said one of the event coordinators.
