The students of II Year Mechanical Engineering from KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) successfully completed a two-day Industry Oriented One Credit Course titled “Industrial Robot Tooling and Actuation” conducted at Axis Global Automation, Coimbatore, from 10.12.2025 to 11.12.2025. The program was organized with the objective of providing students with hands-on industrial exposure and practical knowledge in the field of automation and robotics.
During the course, industry experts introduced students to the fundamentals of industrial robots, robot tooling concepts, automation systems, and their real-time applications in manufacturing industries. The sessions included live demonstrations of robotic arms, end effectors, and automation setups, enabling students to understand programming basics, tooling design considerations, and safety aspects in industrial environments. Interactive discussions and practical demonstrations enhanced the learning experience and bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practice.
