The 15-hour Basics of Oil & Gas program enabled participants to develop a strong foundational understanding of the oil and gas industry, including hydrocarbons and the complete value chain covering upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Students gained knowledge of upstream production and three-phase separation, midstream transportation, storage and LNG basics, downstream refinery processes and crude oil classification, as well as gas processing techniques such as gas sweetening and dehydration. The program also emphasized real-world applications and covered a wide range of technical interview questions and answers, helping students build confidence, improve industry readiness, and effectively prepare for internships and entry-level technical interviews in the oil and gas sector.
