The KPR Trophy Inter-School Championship 2026–2027, organized by the Department of Physical Education, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, was successfully conducted in two phases on 20th & 21st August 2026 and 29th August 2026.
The championship featured competitions in Basketball, Football, Handball, Throwball, Volleyball, Badminton and Chess for boys and girls in various age categories. Approximately 50 schools from Coimbatore, Erode and Tiruppur districts participated, with around 150 teams and 1,500 student athletes taking part.
The competitions were conducted smoothly with active participation, discipline and sportsmanship among the students. The event provided an excellent platform for young athletes to showcase their talents, gain competitive exposure and develop teamwork and sportsmanship.
Overall, the championship was successfully conducted as planned, with the effective coordination and cooperation of the organizing team, officials, coaches, volunteers, teachers and participating schools. The event contributed significantly to promoting sports participation, physical fitness and sporting excellence among school students.
