The Pre-Employment Residential Training Programme 2026–27, organized by the Coimbatore Builders and Contractors Association (CEBACA), was successfully completed at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. The programme provided final-year Civil Engineering students with valuable industry-oriented exposure to construction practices, industry standards, project management, safety practices, and employability skills through residential training and interaction with experienced industry professionals.
The programme concluded with a placement drive, providing students with an opportunity to interact with prospective employers and participate in the recruitment process. A total of 24 companies participated in the placement drive, and the recruitment process was successfully carried out.
As part of the valedictory activities, students shared their feedback and experiences about the training programme. Certificates were distributed to all participating students in recognition of their successful completion of the programme. The programme served as a valuable platform for enhancing students' industry readiness and strengthening the connection between academia and the construction industry.
