INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The 80th Independence Day Celebration was conducted by KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology on 15 August 2026 at 8:00 AM at Phoenix Circle. The event was organized with the objective of fostering patriotism, national pride, unity, and cultural awareness among the students and staff.

The celebration was graced by Dr. K. Kulandaivel, Former Chancellor and Lifetime Trust Member of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, as the Chief Guest.

As part of the celebrations, students actively participated in various cultural programmes. A patriotic dance performance was conducted, in which students presented a vibrant and well-coordinated performance reflecting the spirit of India's independence and cultural diversity. The performance received appreciation from the audience and added enthusiasm to the celebrations.
