The two-day techno-cultural festival FIESTAA '23, was held on February 16 and 17, 2023, is intended to break down barriers between cultures and to inspire creative thinking. It is organized by KPR Institutions and will feature a variety of workshops, games, challenges, competitions, and non-technical clashes. The festival is scheduled to be illuminated by a number of renowned social media stars, motivational speakers, stand-up comedians, and famous business leaders. Different Engineering departments organize both technical and non-technical events. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a Technical Quiz event. The participants from various college registered for the event. The technical event consists of two rounds. The first round is open to all contestants and top five teams are short listed based on the performance for the next round to decide the winners. During the first round totally fifteen questions were displayed to the participants to access their skillsets. Most of the questions are displayed from latest recent technology. Then the second round is of ten questions which are deep into the technology. From the shortlisted top five teams the winners and runners were selected based on the final score. The Winners of the event are Mr. Kolaa Pravin and Mr. S. Suresh from SNS College of Engineering (Autonomous), SNS Kalvi Nagar, Sathy Main Road, Kurumbapalayam, PO, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and the Runners are Mr. G. Mohanraj & Mr. M. Anbumani from Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Dr.N.G.P. Nagar, Kalapatti Main Rd, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. During the awarding ceremony , the Winners and Runners awards are handed over to the contestants by Dr. J. Indra, Head of the ECE department and conveyed her wishes to everyone for participating the event.
