A poster presentation is a way to communicate your research or your understanding of a topic in a concise and visually engaging format. A poster presentation usually includes two elements: a poster. a brief verbal explanation of the poster content or topic . Department of Civil Engineering along with ASCE student chapter organized poster presentation for the external participants from various colleges in view of Feista'23. The poster presentation competition focused the themes on SDG 6 and 11. SDG 6 focuses on the topics Sustainable Management of water, Waste water Treatment and Recycling, 3R Process, Nanotechnology in water treatment and SDG 11 focuses on the topics Disaster risk reduction, sustainable transport and sustainable cities. Poster presentation was conducted in Civil III Year classroom at KPRIET. Participants from various colleges actively took part into the competition and answered the queries raised by the juries. Students presented about the topic on waste water treatment methodologies, advanced treatment method, 3R Process and Recycling, Disaster risk reduction, sustainable cities. The theme is mainly focused on the Sustainable Development Goals to promote awareness among the students and to create sustainable environment and solution. Based on the presentation by external participants, the marks were allotted for their poster, clarity in content, way of presentation and expressing their ideas in creative manner. The students with best poster design and presentation was rewarded with momento and cash prizes in order to motivate them and to be successful person in their future endeavors. Cash prize of Rs.2000, Rs. 1500 and Rs.1000 were given as a appreciation.
