On the 16th of February 2023, a Idea Innovation event was organised by  Fiestaa 23,Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and facilitated by Dr.A.C.Sumathi Head/AD and Coordinated by Dr.V.Vignesh Association Incharge coordinated the workshop for the students and faculties of KPRIET and other participants from other institutions.
 The main objective of this Programme would be to promote and encourage college student to come out with their innovative ideas in terms of energy efficiency and its conservation. It would, also, provide equal opportunities for leading corporates to absorb such brilliant minds in their energy-intensive units and would facilitate more cost-effective ways of energy savings. This initiative will facilitate greater awareness about energy efficiency at a starting phase of college students. By identifying and promoting these innovations of young visionaries, Bureau and it distinguish stakeholders may proactively accelerate the technology-driven innovative solutions, as this will unlock greater opportunities for making India an energy efficient nation. The names of the winners were announced at the end of the ceremony. The Head of the department   motivated the students by providing them with certificates and prize money. The first-place winner received a certificate and Rs. 1500/- in prize money, while the second-place winners received Rs. 1000/-. The debug competition resulted in students who were very responsive, well-prepared, enthusiastic, and followed the rules. The level of competition was kept on par with competitive exams to assist students in their academic careers and future job opportunities. The students appreciated the department's efforts to broaden their knowledge and learning
Overall 21 teams were participated from different departments and from different institutions. This contest was a good learning experience for the participants. They had the opportunity to familiarize themselves in the recent trends in Industry. The idea innovation coordinator was Mr.Premkumar Assistant Professor and was assisted by Mr.Thilakeswaran from III AD. The event convener was Dr.V.Vignesh, Asso.Prof. cum Association Incharge.
