Concrete and Common sense, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

Lecture Series II on “Concrete and Common Sense” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in association with Indian Concrete Institute on 26th February 2022. The main aim of the expert talk is to make the students aware on the better practices in the usage of concrete with common sense. Mr. Dharani Krishna/II year civil welcomed the gathering and chief guest was introduced by Ms.Fathimathul fuhaima/II year civil. 

Dr. A. Sudhakar, M.E, Ph.D, CEO – Dimensions, President – Indian Concrete Institute, Coimbatore Chapter addressed the gathering on work flow in construction projects, effective use of concrete and the challenges in practice, thrust areas, application of Indian Standard codes, innovative approaches in concrete technology and opportunities for civil engineers. And He cleared the doubts raised by the students. Finally Ms.Varshitha/III year civil, proposed the vote of thanks. Total of 11 faculty members, 62 students and one industry person attended the programme.
