A one-week skill-development program on 'Comprehensive C Programming and Problem Solving' is being organized by the department of computer science and engineering from August 7 to August 12, 2023. The purpose of this one-week skill-development session is to assist the instructors teaching the 'Problem Solving and C Programming' course. Six faculty members from the Dept. of ECE, BME and Mechatronics attended the program. As per the schedule and syllabus, faculty members were given knowledge transfer. The program started with demonstrating basic building blocks and sample c programs. The following topics were discussed during the program, Computational thinking on problem solving, basic problem solving approach, writing simple C program with basic building blocks of the C language, different tools, IDE available for the implementation, Structures, union, pointers and file handling. Participant were also provided with the material for handling the course. Real time application that uses C language was also discussed during the event.
