First Year Student Induction Programme (Batch 2020-2024)
KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organised an Induction program for the first year students on the 9 November 2020. More than six hundred students with their parents graced the occasion through online mode. The program was graced by Professor Dr.E.Balagurusamy, the former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University and former member of the UPSC as the chief guest. The session was inaugurated with the welcome address by our beloved Principal, Dr. M.Akila. Totally 847 Students and 230 Faculty Members attended the event.
Our chief guest Prof.Dr.E.Balagurusamy, delivered his valuable speech. He mentioned that, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best institutions in Coimbatore. In his speech he gave much importance to the need of education and student’s responsibilities. He explained ten types of skills to be developed in students like ability to think, analyze, manage, co operate, improve lifelong learning.
He advised the students to develop curiosity, courage, communication and innovation. He also advised the members of faculty to teach applications to the students in all disciplines and to integrate teaching learning process. Finally he blessed our students to get success in their life both socially and economically. Mr.R.Nigun Sanjai, I - CSE proposed Vote of Thanks by the end of the session.
