The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Career Advancement Cell organized a webinar on “Career Opportunities through GATE” on 26.08.2023 for the students’ community. A heart-warming welcome remark was delivered by Dr. I.Baranilingesan, Assistant Professor(SL.G), Department of EEE. Mr.A.Kaushik M.Tech, Faculty, ACE Academy has presented the GATE exam benefits. The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam is a prestigious examination in India for students seeking admission to postgraduate programs in various engineering, science, and technology disciplines. GATE is primarily conducted to assess the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. It also serves as a qualifying examination for admissions to M.Tech, M.E., and Ph.D. programs at IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), IISc (Indian Institute of Science), and various other institutions. The following points were deliberated 1. Purpose 2. Conducting Body 3. Eligibility 4. Exam Pattern 5. Scoring 6. Syllabus 7. Admission and Recruitment 8. Preparation 9. Application Process 10. Results and Scorecard. These are all the points that were deliberated. Later, during the Q & A session, students asked their doubts regarding the GATE examination. The resource person answered all the questions raised by the students. In total, 120 students and 10 faculty members attended the webinar.
