General Medical Awareness has created among students and Faculties

Medical camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. M. Akila. Three doctors from Daisy hospitals had given free counsel for students, faculties and staffs. Free blood test like Hemoglobin test, sugar test, BCP test and basic test like Blood pressure are taken in the medical camp. 12 Technicians, Nurse and Care takers have come along with doctors. General health checkup was done for students of KPRIET more than 300 people had undergone for General Health checkup and 185 people took blood samples for blood tests. Free medicines were dispensed for staffs.
Main complaints among the adult population were related to back pain, knee pain and overweight were treated symptomatically. Doctors gave lecture to students regarding menstruation and menstrual hygiene. They also provided some instructions to lead a healthy life without obesity. They displayed importance time management and minimal physical activities for healthy life. The test results of blood samples have sent to what’s app and E mail Id respectively. The post consultation for the students and faculties also made available in their hospitals in continuation with this medical camp. Doctors also provided healthy tips and diet charts for students and faculties to lose weight gradually. Valedictory and Vote of thanks was delivered by the Managing Director Ms. Shruthi Shenoy of Daisy Hospitals, Coimbatore. Mr. P. Ravi Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE and Dr. P. Anil Kumar, Professor, Department of Chemistry has honored the doctors by giving memento and gifts.  The event had successfully completed at 05:30 pm. NSS volunteers also appreciated for their entire support during the program and their endless efforts.
