Summary

Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with SAE India and Ambal Autos, Coimbatore organized a “Hands-on training on 4 wheeler engine and transmission systems” on 26-03-2022. Mr. P. Boobalakrishnan, Assistant Professor (Sr. G), welcomes the Gathering for the function. Dr. K. Ravi Kumar, Professor, Mechanical Engineering welcomes the Chief Guests. Students were split into 3 batches for engine, transmission and sensor diagnosis. Trainers showed the demo of assembling and disassembling of engine and transmission systems along with sensor diagnosis. They explained the working and functions of every components and answered the doubts of the students in practical manner. The students were given hands-on experience on the engine and transmission systems. The batches were shuffled so every students got exposed to all the components
