A poster presentation is a way to communicate your research or your understanding of a topic in a short and concise format. It helps to improve your skill, Communication, your ability to express your technical views. Poster presentations develop ability to communicate perceptively and concisely an important workplace skill. The purpose of your poster presentation will be shaped by how they are used in your discipline and by the assessment task itself. A total of 18 students (9 groups) were participated in this activity, Mr. JAYA BALAJEE .A, Project manager, L&T Constructions and Mr.V.Kavinkumar, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Department of Civil Engineering were the judges for this activity.
The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The theme of the competition was “Sustainable Development”. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings, sketches and many more. Students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters with immense enthusiasm and made beautiful posters which described how technology can help society in various sectors and also help in rapid economic growth and citizen empowerment across the globe. All poster’s theme describes that how they can empower every citizen with access to sustainable development, knowledge and information.
