Summary
The CSE Department Association, Software Development Club (SDC) in association with CSI Student Chapter  was conducted Guest Lecture on Insight on Blockchain in Industry on 16.08.2022. Dr.V.Vignesh,  Associate Professor and SDC - Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering lead this program. Mr.Keerthivasan Student Head of SDC welcome the gathering, Dr.J.Indra Professor and Head i/c , Department of Computer Science and Engineering felicitate the gathering, Mr.Tamilselvan is been the chief guest of the today program . The chief guest addressed on the importance on the concept of blockchain in the industry. The outcome of this program the student can enrich their knowledge on the concept of blockchain and its applications in industry and Ms.Pooja proposed the vote of thanks. His session is more useful, attractive and informative. Blockchain uses decentralization and cryptographic hashing. This helps in making the history of any digital asset unalterable and transparent. Blockchain technology enables faster and low-cost processing of transactions. It also allows untrusted participants to reach a consensus on the state of the database.Blockchain automatically follows transactions from beginning to finish without conferring a major authority tasked with maintaining the transaction or encrypting the data without the necessity for human intervention. Rather, by categorizing them, blockchain or NFT equips transparency around what's happened in the history of the transactions. A blockchain is a distributed ledger with growing lists of records (blocks) that are securely linked together via cryptographic hashes. Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data (generally represented as a Merkle tree, where data nodes are represented by leaves).
