EEE PARENTS MEETING, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

Parents expressed their happiness regarding the progress of placement with highest packages and continuous follow-ups and progress of the department.

As per the schedule, the parents’ meeting was convened on 01.10.2022 (Saturday) at 10.00 AM in Thanam Hall. Prof. B. Lalitha, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has welcomed the parents for the meeting. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, Professor & Head, presided over the function and presented the Vision & Mission, Salient features of the Department & Institution to the parents. Prof. G. Saravanan, Assistant Professor (Sl.G), delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting was attended by around 100 parents.
Points discussed by the Department HoD to the Parents:
1.     The HoD appreciated the parents for attending the meeting and expressed the importance of this meeting.
2.     The HoD happily shared the achievements of the department specifically the Overall Best Outgoing Student Award (Female Category) and Academic Toppers for the academic year 2021-2022.
3.     The HoD congratulated both students and faculty members for the achievement of 19 medals in sports activity.
4.      The HoD proudly shared about the final year students’ achievement of International Book of Records - Youngest Artist.
5.      The HoD shared that the grand conduction of events like Placement Day 2022, Annual Day 2022 and FIESTAA 2022 during the year.
6.     The HoD explained about the internship opportunities at ABB, Siemens, Ashok Leyland, etc., also shared the importance of armed forces.
7.     HoD insisted the parents to motivate their wards to participate more curricular and extracurricular events in the reputed institutions within the state and outside the state too.
8.     Also the students are motivated and constantly encouraged to attend GATE coaching and given exposure about the scholarship for PG at international universities.
