The KPRIET Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), in partnership with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, conducted an offline (physical) event on September 16, 2022, with the theme "Preparing for fire safety inspection examination." Mr. Ramanathan, a 2016-20 KPRIET graduate, was the guest speaker. The session began with a welcoming message by Dr. S. Gokulkumar, Alumni Coordinator-Mechanical Department, and the interaction was intended to guide and motivate students to crack the fire safety inspection examinations.
The following subjects were discussed during the interaction:
1. Career Counseling - Career Path Selection
2. Qualifications needed to become a fire safety inspector
Approximately 54 pupils participated in the program. During the Q&A session, the presenters answered a number of questions from the audience. The diversity and breadth of the questions posed suggest that participants were actively engaged in the program. Dr.S.Gokulkumar, Assistant Professor(Sr. G), Department of Mechanical Engineering, concluded the event by expressing gratitude to the speakers, students, and organizing team on behalf of the Department.
