The KPRIET Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted an offline (physical) event titled "Design sector in MNCs" on January 20, 2023. Mr. Sudeep, a KPRIET graduate from the class of 2017 to 2021, was the featured speaker at the event. Dr. S. Gokulkumar, Alumni Coordinator of the Mechanical Department, gave the session's opening address. The purpose of the engagement was to address the importance of the design sectors in MNCs.

About 54 students participated in the program. During the Q&A session, the presenters responded to a number of audience queries. Diverse and extensive questions indicate that participants were actively involved in the program. Mr. T. Kannan, Assistant Professor(Sr. G), Department of Mechanical Engineering, concluded the event by expressing gratitude on behalf of the department to the speakers, students, and organizing team.
