Investigate the coding and typing skills of the participants.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized the Blind Coding Contest as part of Fiestaa 23 on February 16, 2023. The contest was held from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm and was a team-based event with each team consisting of two members, one of whom was blindfolded while the other had their hand tied.Blind Coding This event consists of 1 round. The program consists of 1 problem solving basic and 1 problem solving intermediate. The competition included two problem-solving questions that were categorized into basic and intermediate levels, and the teams had to solve them with optimal time complexity. The Blind Coding Competition attracted a large number of participants from different colleges and diverse areas. 84 individuals(42 teams) took part in the event. Participants were enthusiastic about the unique and exciting experience of coding with both eyes blindfolded.
The event coordinators evaluated all the batches that participated between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The winners of the competition were Manu Johnson and Hariharan from Rover Engineering College, who completed both problems in 52 minutes. Kavin Prasath and Dhanush from Erode Sengunthar Engineering College were awarded the runners-up position for completing both problems in 58 minutes.
The winners received a cash prize, a memento, certificate and a discount pass to Snow Fantasy (Coimbatore), while the runners-up were presented with cash prize, certificate and a discount pass. The event was well-organized and executed, and the participants thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, the Blind Coding Competition was a resounding success and a great showcase of the participants' coding and typing skills.
