A report on - GATE AWARENESS PROGRAM
Chemical engineering plays a major role in our life. Important applications in Agriculture (fertilizers, pesticides etc) , Food industry, Medicine, Petroleum fuel etc. After graduation, other than campus placement, govt job opportunities are there. To crack govt opportunities, GATE exam is the important one. Many students are not aware of that. So, we organized a program to know the same.
On 11.08.2022 at 03.00 PM (IST), we the department of Chemical Engineering and Career Advancement Cell jointly organized ‘GATE AWARENESS PROGRAM’. More than 60 students participated in this program.
Mr. Sathyamoorthy, and Mr.Vivekanandan, GATE Educator from Unacademy, given an insight about GATE exam. They have explained well about how to approach the GATE exam, study tips, how to crack GATE exam easily and so on. They interacted with the students and faculty members. It was really a useful session for the students and the faculty members of the department. Finally, students gained awareness about GATE and opportunities after clearing GATE exam. GATE exam is helpful not only govt exams, govt jobs, also helpful in foreign higher studies, higher studies in India etc.
Beyond the event organized, GATE academy person, they are guiding our students by offering aptitude training, technical training gateway guidance, guidance on purchased Unacademy platform etc. Mr. Sathyamoorthy, and Mr. Vivekanandan, GATE Educator from Unacademy, both they are well and good in Mathematical aptitude platform. On our request they will come to our campus and they will conduct aptitude training and also online mode as per our request.
