ONLINE FACILTY INTERACTION ON RESEARCH COLLABORATION , KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

After the interaction, all the faculty members can able to
1) understand the basic idea in converting idea to draft into possible research funding
2) understanding research paper writing
3) Joint funding and collaborations

Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering has organized an online interaction with Dr. Ahmed Abdi Yusuf Ali, Senior Lecturer, Electrical Engineering Technology, University of Johannesberg, South Africa on 17. 02. 2023 between 02.30 am to 03.30 pm through google meet. Dr. Ahmed Abdi Yusuf Ali was on boarded as a visiting faculty from Jan 2023. HoD showed his gratitude to prof. for accepting KPRIET, dept. of cse application for being visiting prof to KPRIET. The main objective of the meeting is to have an interaction on the possible research collaboration opportunities available in India and in South Africa, to have joint research publication with KPRIET faculty members with Dr. Ahmed Abdi Yusuf Ali. Dr. N. Yuvaraj, HoD / CS welcomed the visiting professor to the faculty members. Prof. started interaction by introducing him with his area of interest and research focus area. He has shared his experience in writing research article and proposals to various funding agencies in S A. He has also introduced several Indo - African initiatives taken by both the countries. He shared his expertise and also shared his working experience with the university of Johannesberg. Faculty members interacted with prof. by asking several questions related to the possible research in the field of computing and wireless communication. He has accepted invitation of HoD on various proposals given from by the faculty members of the department and invited to visit India. HoD thanked him for being a part of KPRIET family. A total of 20 faculty members attended the interaction.
