Outcome of the Event:
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have organized the workshop titled “Getting Started with Augmented Reality / Virtual reality” on 15.03.2023. The student participants gained more knowledge about Augmented Reality / Virtual reality. 65 student participants attended the workshop. The students were more interested in attending the workshop and all of them learnt about Augmented Reality / Virtual reality. To discuss the opportunities and challenges of starting an AR/VR business, and share insights on how to succeed in this fast-growing industry.

· The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems have organized the workshop titled “Getting Started with Augmented Reality / Virtual reality” on 15.03.2023 in the CSBS Department. 65 student participants attended the workshop.
· The Startups Session was a highly informative and insightful event that provided entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts with the opportunity to learn from Mr.Mahendra Vellingiri, Founder, Coitor, and Coimbatore.
· Mr.Mahendra Vellingiri began by discussing the importance of identifying a unique value proposition and creating a strong brand identity. He emphasized the need to differentiate oneself from competitors and to consistently communicate one's value to potential customers.
· Passion and perseverance are key: The speaker emphasized the importance of having a deep passion for AR/VR, as well as the perseverance to keep going even when faced with setbacks and challenges.
· The session concluded with a Q&A session, where audience members had the opportunity to ask the Mr.Mahendra Vellingiri questions about his own experiences and insights on the startup journey.
· The AR/VR Entrepreneurship Session provided valuable insights into what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur in this exciting and rapidly growing industry. By focusing on passion, problem-solving, collaboration, and risk-taking, aspiring AR/VR entrepreneurs can position themselves for success in the years ahead.
