Summary
The Mechanical Engineering Department of KPRIET organized a boot camp on digital manufacturing using Fusion 360 on 13-05-2023. The boot camp aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Fusion 360 software and its applications in the field of digital manufacturing. The event featured two resource persons from Autodesk India Ltd, Mr. Rohit Chandran and Mr. Prasath V.
Mr. Rohit Chandran, an Education Engagement Specialist from Autodesk India Ltd, was one of the key resource persons for the boot camp. With his expertise in the field of digital manufacturing, Mr. Chandran provided valuable insights into Fusion 360 software and its functionalities. He shared his knowledge and experiences, helping the participants understand the software's capabilities and its relevance in the industry. Mr. Prasath V, another Education Engagement Specialist from Autodesk India Ltd, also contributed to the boot camp as a resource person. With his expertise in the field, Mr. Prasath V provided additional insights into Fusion 360 and its applications in digital manufacturing. His interactive sessions and practical demonstrations helped the participants gain a deeper understanding of the software's features and how to utilize them effectively.
The boot camp witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 130 students from various disciplines of engineering. The students' active engagement throughout the sessions indicated their eagerness to learn and explore the field of digital manufacturing using Fusion 360. Their participation in discussions and hands-on exercises demonstrated their commitment to enhancing their knowledge and skills in this area. The boot camp consisted of several sessions conducted by the resource persons, focusing on different aspects of digital manufacturing using Fusion 360. The Autodesk Boot Camp on Digital Manufacturing Using Fusion 360 organized by the Mechanical Engineering Department of KPRIET proved to be a valuable learning experience for the participants.
