A. Benefit for Students

·       6-Week summer internship to B.E./B.Tech. students under RISEUP scheme at IIT Jammu. The students will receive a weekly stipend of Rs.2500 during the course of the internship. The supervisors will receive a contingency budget of Rs.5000/month 

·       6 Months internship to M.E./M.Tech. students based on performance in a technical interview

·       Guest lecture on the latest innovations and challenges in metal additive manufacturing technologies

B. Benefit for Department

·       Part-time Ph.D. @ IIT Jammu under the guidance of IIT faculty along with a joint supervisor at a parent institute. Candidate has to stay for 3 months at IIT Jammu and physically attend the course work exams

Received 3rd prize in Geo innovation challenge by DST

Participated in Drone Race event and won 2nd prize

I am thrilled to share that our team, UVIRA from the ARC (Aviation and Robotics Club) of KPRIET, participated in the Garuda India Hackathon 2024 at DMI Engineering College, Kanyakumari, and secured 1st place! Competing among 46 teams, my teammate SALIH AZEEM from the 2nd year CSBS department and I are proud to have showcased our disaster management hexacopter during the hackathon. This project represents our commitment to creating impactful solutions for real-world problems.

As part of this achievement, we were awarded a cash prize of one lakh and a one-month internship at Garuda Aerospace Private Limited, Chennai, which will allow us to further refine our skills and knowledge in the aerospace field.
