The Department of Chemical Engineering was started in the year 2018 with a sanctioned intake of 60 student. The department has experienced substantial growth and attained noteworthy milestones since its inception. Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in increase in the student enrolment over the years. Currently serving over 262 students in the undergraduate program, who are actively engaged in a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the demands of the dynamic field of chemical engineering. The department is proud of its faculty team, comprised of individuals with Ph.D. and Master's degrees in various fields of Chemical Engineering, each bringing a wealth of experience. One of the hallmarks of our department is the recognition as a research centre by Anna University, a testament to our dedication to advancing knowledge and contributing to cutting-edge research in the field.
The IIChE Student Chapter at KPRIET, affiliated with the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), Kolkata, aims to engage students in chemical engineering. Guided by the IIChE Coimbatore Regional Centre, it organizes academic events such as webinars, seminars, workshops, and plant visits to enhance industry readiness. Abstracts, limited to 250 words and written in English, should be submitted online. It must include the title, author(s) names, corresponding author, Institute affiliation, and up to five keywords, formatted in Microsoft Word (A4 size) using Times New Roman font with a size of 12. Upon acceptance by the conference committee, authors are required to submit a full-length manuscript (maximum six pages) following the template provided in the registration link.
It is essential that at least one of the authors registers for the conference and is present during the presentation. The schedule for presentations will be shared with authors by 28/02/2025.
The abstract must clearly specify the topics or themes addressed. Authors are encouraged to refer to the attached abstract template available in the registration link for guidance on submission.
The organizing committee reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters related to the conference.
High-quality selected articles will be considered for publication in peer-reviewed SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, subject to the decisions of the respective journal's editorial board. Authors will be notified about the publication status periodically.
