INTEL ONEAPI HACKATHON 2023, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

K.P. R Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) - Centre for Innovation, recently organized the Intel oneAPI Hackathon 2023. The 48-hour event was held on 29.04.2023, and it witnessed an overwhelming response from the student community, with over 200 participants from the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Biomedical Engineering (BME), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
The Hackathon aimed to promote innovation, creativity, and collaboration among the participants, with a focus on leveraging Intel's oneAPI platform to develop cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems. As a precursor to the event, the organizers conducted an Intel oneAPI Orientation Workshop on 01.04.2023, which saw enthusiastic participation from the students.The Hackathon received a total of 40+ abstract submissions, out of which 25+ teams were shortlisted after a rigorous review process.
