KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, one of India's premier institutes in Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2009. Since its inception, the Institute has been the catalyst for innovative teaching techniques, significant research, industry interaction and has emerged as a prolific institution with international standards in the region. As a proactive research institution, the students and faculty members experience world class education and develop sustainable solutions for the real-world problems. The institute has evolved to the present status with a resourceful faculty team of academic repute, highly brilliant and resolute student community, consistent technical and supporting staff and an efficient administration. KPRIET is best known as a leading centre for innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial consultancy. Realizing the dream of inclusive development, the institute contributes towards knowledge mobilization and social welfare activities like Corporate Social Responsibilities and Green Energy Initiatives. KPRIET is well represented in rankings and surveys that identify its leadership in academic performance, affordability and student satisfaction.
Know moreThe Department of Engineering Mathematics was established in 2009, the year of establishment of the institute. The department is one of the most active departments with faculty strength 16. Out of 16 faculty members, 15 members possess PhDs in different areas of specialization namely Differential Equations, Control Theory, Fluid Dynamics, Graph Theory, Fractional Differential Equations, Topology, Operator Theory etc., Total number of research papers published in the national/international Journals collectively by the department runs to 200 in numbers. The objective of the department is to equip Engineering students with the power of reasoning and Mathematical conceptual knowledge which would enable them to model and solve real-life problems encountered in Science and Technology. The department has organized many offline and online workshops, webinars, and Faculty Development Programme for students, research scholars, and faculty members in and around the nation.
The Department of Mathematics at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is pleased to announce the International Conference on Applied Mathematical Modelling – 2025 (ICAMM - 2025), scheduled for 20 & 21 February 2025.
Applied mathematical modelling focuses on addressing real-world challenges through the use of mathematical tools and techniques. The conference seeks to highlight practical applications of these models across various industries and fields, illustrating how mathematical concepts can be applied to solve real issues. Applied mathematical modelling frequently overlaps with disciplines like engineering, physics, biology, economics, and others. The conference seeks to promote collaboration and engagement among researchers from diverse areas, encouraging interdisciplinary discussions and innovative approaches.
The main goal of this conference is to offer a platform for researchers, academics, and professionals to present their most recent research, advancements, and insights in applied mathematical modelling. It aims to foster knowledge sharing and encourage the exchange of ideas.
We invite the submission of original, unpublished research papers from academics, research scholars, and industry professionals in the following areas (but not limited to these):
Selected research papers, after undergoing a peer review process, will be published by Springer Nature in the book series Proceedings on Applied Mathematical Modelling, which is indexed in SCOPUS, without any publication charge.
