QCFI in association with KPRIET, Coimbatore conducted the 8th Annual chapter convention on quality concept on 28th September 2023. 176 teams with 766 delegates from 40 organizations participated. Case study presentations on 5S, quality circles, lean QC, kaizen, etc. was presented in 8 halls and evaluated by 16 judges. CEO and Principal of KPRIET was the chief guest and Guest of honor for the valedictory function and they distributed the awards to the teams. Chair person Dr. J. Mohanasundari was given a citation by the team QCFI CBE for the remarkable service rendered by her for the establishment and running of QCFI Cbe chapter for the last one decade. Home 5S presentation with criteria was explained by Mrs. S. Yogeshwari, Advisor - Mission 1 Lakh Home 5S. Mr. Manikandan of Koso India Pvt. Ltd. made a presentation on 5S in his cattle farm. Home kaizen presentation was made by an employee of TVS Motors Ltd., Hosur. 160 teams were awarded with Gold category, 15 teams with silver and 1 team was with bronze. Gold award winners are eligible to take part in the National Convention on Quality Concepts 2023 scheduled from 4th - 6th January, 2024 in Nagpur.
