The Department of Biomedical Engineering in association with Career Advancement Cell (CAC) organized a Seminar on 'Tricks and Tips to Crack GATE 2024' to create a awareness and preparation on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

(GATE), its importance in getting a reputed college for pursuing their masters degree and also for getting a secured Job in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) on 9th January 2024 (09.30 am to 04.00 pm) at CAC Hall for the students community. A heart-warming welcome remark was delivered by Dr. Saranya R, Head/Career Advancement Cell (CAC). Ms. Harini SV, from III year, Department of Biomedical Engineering introduced the Chief Guest Mr. Vasudev A and Dr. Pandiyan P, to the students. Speakers emphasis the career opportunities after Engineering through GATE. Further, they illustrates the eligibility criteria, selection process in PSU(s). The lecture focused on the following points

• Syllabus and Examination pattern followed

• Selection process

• Tips, shortcuts, and subject-specific guidance

• Various positions and levels in Public Sector Undertakings

• Importance of Post Graduation

The speech was highly motivating and inspired all the participants.
