WORKSHOP ON 3D PRINTING, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

90 students from various Engineering colleges were attended and got trained in 3D Printing and 3D scanning technology. They were reallyinterested and motivated to learn further about this technology. This workshop helps to improve the visibility of CoE-3D printing lab amongmany institutes

A Workshop on “3D Printing and 3D Scanning” was organized by CoE- 3D Printing Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering on12.10.2023 between 10.45am to 12.45pm at 3D Printing Laboratory. Dr. D. Balaji, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering, KPRIET and Mr. P. Arunkumar, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Mechanical Engineering, KPRIET, consented to be the guest speaker and handled the sessions. 90 students from various Engineeringcollege around Taminadu had attended the session. They trained the students withdemonstration of FDM and DLP 3D printer. Also they gave hands on experience about 3D scanner with detailed post processing steps. Thebatch wise demonstration have been taken to the students for better understanding. Further, They interacted and clarified the doubts raised.
