The innovative spirit of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology sparkles with the creative caliber of the students showcased in the Innovsense 2023 v1.0, an Inter- collegiate project contest. The contest was organized on 22.03.2024 & 23.03.2024 at the college premises where a total of 200 projects were registered and 155 projects were exhibited for evaluation. The event was organized by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIIED) of KPRIET.
On 22.03.2024 Evaluation panel members Dr. R. Ranjith Kumar, Chief Scientific Officer, Viyen Biotech LLP, Coimbatore, Mr. Ramesh Duraisamy, Chief Technical Officed, Chip Crafts, Coimbatore, Mr. Y. Nesabalan, Manager – Design & Development, Flow Link Systems (P) Ltd, Coimbatore, Ms. A. S. Heena Firdaus, Data Engineering Analyst, Accenture Technologies, Coimbatore and Mr. Gowtham Deventhiran, Managing Director, Trucon InterConnect Solutions, Coimbatore are evaluated 155 projects and 30 projects were shortlisted for final round.
On 23.03.2024 The Evaluators Mr. Aravindhan A, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Manufacturing Engineering, Pricol Limited, Coimbatore and Mr. Vasan R, Chief Operating Officer, Ekki Group, Coimbatore reviewed the projects exhibited by students from interdisciplinary departments. The Head of CIIED, Dr. K. Ravikumar delivered the welcome address. The Principal of KPRIET Dr. D. Saravanan felicitated the gathering and introduced the chief guests. The chief guests deliberated the sessions and gave glimpse.
A total of 10 projects and 2 best mentors were awarded a cash prize of worth Rs. 1, 70,000 to the students and Mentors. The contest opened the threshold of creative and skill based learning for the students to explore the world that are yet to discover.
